702 Mornings Election Broadcast live from Eastwood Plaza 28 August

With a Federal Election looming, Bennelong’s vote is crucial. That’s why 702 ABC Sydney’s Linda Mottram will be broadcasting live from Eastwood Plaza from 8:30am on Wednesday 28 August.

Bennelong MP John Alexander and Labor challenger Jason Yat-Sen Li will join Linda in the Plaza to discuss the election and their plans for the area. There will also be live music from the ARIA Award winning a cappella group Idea of North.

This event is 6th in line of a series of live broadcasts with Linda Mottram’s Morning show in some of the key marginal electorates throughout Sydney. To date this has included Blacktown (Greenway & Chifley), Hurstville (Banks), Penrith (Lindsay), Parramatta (Parramatta) and Erina (Robertson & Dobell).

Linda has been all around Sydney, connecting with the community and broadcasting the views of the people in some of the key electorates.

With a nod to Eastwood’s burgeoning table tennis scene, Table Tennis Australia will be setting up live demonstrations.

Come down to see 702 Mornings Presenter Linda Mottram have a hit with program guests at Eastwood Plaza, microphone in one hand paddle in the other. Who knows where her best topspin will come from?

If you can’t make it to Eastwood Plaza, be sure not to miss out: tune in to the live broadcast from 8.30am or stream online at abc.net.au/sydney.
