We have received the following from RMS NSW for your information and feedback:
The NSW Government has fully funded the Bus Priority Infrastructure Program, which aims to improve the reliability of bus services on Sydney’s main bus corridors.
As part of this program, Transport for NSW and Roads and Maritime Services are asking for community feedback by Friday 12 May 2017 on proposed bus priority and capacity improvements in the Macquarie Park area.
Macquarie Park is a rapidly growing residential, commercial and shopping district, needing long-term bus and road improvements to support the area’s future growth. We are proposing a range of road and intersection upgrades to improve the reliability of buses, while easing congestion and improving traffic flow for all road users in the area.
We propose to deliver the work in two stages:
As part of Sydney Metro Northwest, the Epping to Chatswood rail line is scheduled to temporarily close from late 2018 for about seven months. During this period, the Temporary Transport Plan will be implemented to replace the rail line with additional buses. The proposed road and intersection upgrades would support the running of existing and additional bus replacement services, and improve traffic flow in the area. The proposed road work would start around mid-2017.
Once Sydney Metro Northwest opens, the remainder of the road and intersection upgrades would be carried out. This work would provide long-term improvements and ongoing support for bus services and all road users in the area.
We have assessed the environmental impacts of this proposal in a report of findings called a Review of Environmental Factors (REF). It will be on public display from Monday 10 April to Friday 12 May 2017.

What happens next?
We will consider all feedback and respond in a submissions report, which will be available later this year.
We will continue to liaise with the community throughout this project.
