Around 90 members and guests had their first look at the exciting new premises Council has moved into at The Binary Centre in North Ryde at our Business After Hours on 6 June. Clr Jerome Laxale, Mayor, spoke about the merger process and Roy Newsome, Acting GM, updated guests on the Design Our Ryde competition while Meryl Bishop, Manager Strategic City, gave an update on what’s happening in local precinct development. You’ll find images relating to these presentations in our Facebook gallery.

Guests were taken on a tour of the new offices, which will be home to most of the Council staff. Mayor, councillors and their support staff will be housed at Top Ryde City in offices above the Ryde Library and the former Ryde Planning and Business Centre at Top Ryde City will reopen in a few weeks and become the new Council interface for the public to lodge DAs, pay rates and make other transactions.
