City of Ryde Disability Inclusion Action Plan Community Consultation

The City of Ryde would like your help in making Ryde a more inclusive community for all.

Council is currently preparing a regional Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP) in collaboration with Lane Cove and Hunter’s Hill Councils. The Plan will include practical strategies and actions to address regional and local barriers and opportunities to a more socially inclusive and healthy community. Your input will help us to identify and prioritise those actions that will most assist people with disability in Ryde to participate in every aspect of life to the best of their abilities and desires.

We are particularly interested in hearing directly from people with disability, their family, friends and carers but welcome feedback from anybody who is interested in reducing barriers and creating a supportive, welcoming environment for all members of our community.

Your feedback is important to us, and you can provide feedback through this survey and at Community Focus Groups scheduled for Wednesday 3 May 2017, 9:30am – 11:00am and 5:30pm – 7:00pm at City of Ryde Council Chambers, Level 1A Pope Street, Ryde.

To take the survey, please click this link: DIAP Community Survey or visit our Have Your Say page  Have Your Say DIAP for further information.
