Clearway on Church Street/Devlin Street/Lane Cove Road/Ryde Road from Ryde Bridge, Ryde to Yanko Road, West Pymble

RBF has received the following information from NSW Roads and Maritime Services:

Roads and Maritime Services sought comments from the community and stakeholders on clearway proposals for the A3 route from Ryde Bridge, Ryde to Yanko Road, West Pymble in March 2014 and March 2015. We thank everyone who took the time to review the proposals and provided feedback. We have reviewed your feedback and responded to all of the issues raised in community consultation outcomes reports. A copy of each report is available to view on our website

We received feedback from 68 people in total, with overall support for the proposed changes. Most respondents acknowledged that introducing a clearway would help reduce congestion.

Roads and Maritime is currently reviewing the feedback received on the clearway proposals for the section of Ryde Road between Yanko Road, West Pymble and Pacific Highway, Pymble and also for the section of Mona Vale Road between Pacific Highway, Pymble and Kitchener Street, St Ives. It is expected that this review will be completed by the end of September 2015. The community will be informed of the outcome.
