Construction starts on Lane Cove Road ramp on M2

Construction work starts the week beginning 4 November 2013 to build the new Lane Cove Road eastbound on-ramp to the Hills M2 to improve access to Sydney’s Orbital Network for motorists.

The project involves building a new eastbound ramp from Lane Cove Road and a third eastbound lane from the new ramp to the existing Delhi Road off-ramp.

Early work includes the establishment of the work site in the city bound breakdown lane between Lane Cove Road and Wicks Road. City bound lanes will be narrowed while the work is carried out and an 80km/h speed limit will be in place to ensure the safety of motorists and workers.

Fulton Hogan Construction Pty Ltd has been contracted by Hills M2 to complete the construction which is expected to take around 12 months to complete.

For further information regarding the project contact the Hills M2 hotline on 1800 196 266 (option 2) or emailenquiries@lanecoveroadramp.com.au.
