You won't find the activities of the CEO Club advertised widely in our material, as it is a low-key but high-powered forum which offers CEOs the opportunity to network over lunch and enjoy hearing and meeting sought-after, often international, speakers. The CEO Club luncheons take place four times a year, and give senior executives from Ryde – and all over Sydney – the opportunity to enjoy such functions without travelling to the Sydney CBD. There is currently no other organization providing our local executives with this kind of high-powered luncheon experience.
CEOs from within RBF's membership base and a wider circulation are invited; up to 1,000 invitations will be sent for each event, but spaces at each event are limited to between 20 and 50 attendees to provide a level of intimacy, allow attendees to meet the speaker and facilitate networking between executives with similar issues.
Speakers RBF has attracted in the past include Prime Minister The Hon Kevin Rudd MP and then Prime Minister the Hon John Howard MP. This gives you an idea of the level of speaker we intend to keep providing for our CEOs.
CEO Club functions are run under the "Chatham House Rule", which states "When a meeting, or part thereof, is held under the Chatham House Rule, participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s), nor that of any other participant, may be revealed". The Chatham House Rule is used throughout the world as an aid to free discussion. It allows people to speak as individuals, and to express views that may not be those of their organisations.
RBF is currently seeking a major sponsor for the CEO Club's 2010/11 International Speaker series. Please click here for more details on this sponsorship opportunity.
