Ryde is Australia's innovation destination, and home to some of Australia's most switched-on organisations. With the rapid growth Ryde has experienced in recent years large organisations with more than 50 employees have issues such as parking and transport, particularly in Ryde's high-tech Macquarie Park precinct. Ryde Business Forum regularly lobbies government bodies at all levels for improvements in traffic, transport and infrastructure on behalf of its members. Joining us gives you a bigger voice than lobbying on your own. We are a business association concerned with issues which affect the city of Ryde and are passionate about making Ryde a better place for employees to travel to and within.
Level 1 members can also connect with each other at specific events which cover common interests, such as Facilities Managers forums. And for CEOs we have the CEO Club, which offers CEOs the opportunity to attend invitation-only events with topline speakers. Find out more here.
Issues concerning us - and you - at the moment include but are not limited to:- The cancellation of the North West Metro
- Lack of commuter parking around the new railway stations in North Ryde
- Upgrades to the M2 Hills Motorway
You'll find the contacts you make through our organisation could help you achieve targets in a range of areas. For example, if you are considering building or moving into Ryde, we have members who are developers, engineers, water conservation consultants, IT/communication fitout specialists and more. We have HR specialists, employment law specialists and more to help you with your personnel needs. We have a strong relationship with the City of Ryde Council and work with its Economic Development department to raise the national and international profile of Ryde, deliver its economic development strategy and address issues which affect business in the region. We also have ongoing support from and communication channels with our local federal and state members of parliament.
These are still tough economic days for many organisations and there has never been a better time to join Ryde Business Forum and make the contacts you need to grow and develop your business.
"Being a member of Ryde Business Forum has offered my colleagues and me opportunities to review issues that are pertinent and relevant in our business environment. This allows us to share and broaden our perspectives on business issues and opportunities in an innovative, professional, discrete and collegiate forum. It provides us a platform from which we can promote our business and develop strategic alliances with local businesses.
"In addition to such invaluable networking with other business leaders, our attendance at RBF events introduces us to other fields of interest through listening to high profile speakers at the breakfast and luncheon events. Furthermore, as members, we have the opportunity to host a Business After Hours event at our business premises to demonstrate and promote our own activities, products and expertise to the other members." - Sol Cohen, Managing Director, Contract Pharmaceutical Services of Australia, RBF Member since 2000.
