The City of Ryde and Touched by Olivia Foundation invite you to kick your shoes off for a fun afternoon of Barefoot Bowls at Gladesville Sporties Club on 20 June.
The fun starts at noon and the cost of $35 a head or $140 for a team of four includes your lunch and a set of bowls to use on the day. Auctions and raffles add to the fun and all proceeds raised go to a great cause – the Touched by Olivia Foundation.
A message from the Mayor, Cr Roy Maggio, about this event:
Along with my fellow Councillors, I am pleased to be involved with this initiative which connects Council and its community.
I am hoping for a great turnout at this fun and easy event and I would encourage you to spread the word amongst your members.
It is not necessary to form teams prior to the day, but it will be more fun if we have lots of groups who want to play together.
The Gladesville Sporties Club is kindly donating back most of the admission price. This means the day will raise lots of money for Touched by Olivia, a fantastic charity which works throughout the local community and Sydney, to provide all ability children’s playgrounds such as the award winning Livvi’s Place at Yamble Reserve.
To register your interest in playing, please contact my Executive Assistant – Linda Smith via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or complete the on line booking and payment details as supplied in the attached flyer.
Numbers for this event are limited.
I know this is going to be a really fun afternoon, so please register your interest to play as soon as possible.
Give Linda a ring on 9952 8332 if you have any questions.
Otherwise kick off your shoes and join me in supporting this worthy cause.
