A sellout crowd of 180 people set their alarm clocks for a special breakfast on 17 April, when we welcomed the Prime Minister to breakfast with RBF members and guests.
Member for Bennelong Maxine McKew spoke about the local economy before introducing Mr Rudd, who spoke on a range of subjects: the global financial crisis, the rollout of high speed broadband, education, support for business, the Government's financial impetus package and more before taking questions from the floor. A full report will be available in the next issue of Member News for RBF Members.
Our thanks to North Ryde RSL Community Club which did a fantastic job preparing for and hosting the event, and to Maxine McKew's office for their assistance in making the event such a success. We are also grateful to sponsors Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies for their support for this event.
