This year's Expo built on the success of the inaugural Expo to attract more than forty exhibitors and around 340 visitors, and both exhibitors and visitors were delighted with the quality of contacts they made as a result.

Several exhibitors commented that the standard of visitors was very high - business people really interested in doing business locally, which is what it's all about when all's said and done.

RBF has assembled a photo gallery from the day - click here. We thank Andrew Hill of AJH Sports for bringing his SportsStars to the event and a Beijing Olympic Torch, both of which added some extra pizzazz to the day. Andrew's photos are available here.

We welcomed a special visitor to the Expo - Don Page MP, who is the NSW Shadow Minister for Small Business & Regulatory Reform as well as Shadow Minister for Tourism. He was impressed at the level of energy in the Expo and the diversity of businesses which exhibited. For large multinationals like Optus and Toshiba to smaller consultancies such as Millard Business Associates the Expo provided opportunities to generate leads and partnering opportunities.

Our thanks go to expo managers Expo Edge who once again did a superb job coordinating all aspects of the Expo, to the Stamford Grand North Ryde for a marvellous venue, attention to detail and a fantastic cocktail party after the event, and to the City of Ryde for their support as an Expo partner. Our thanks too to support partners and alliance partners who helped make the event such as a success. Click here to see the list/visit their websites. In particular Optus gets a mention for providing the best quality carry bags we have seen at an expo of this type.

Without help from volunteers the RBF stand would not have had the successful day it did. Huge thanks to Sol Cohen, Patches Yong, Lorraine and Mal Cox, Lydia Scuglia, Roland Hanekroot for helping Sabrina Ferguson out.

Winner of the Best Stand as voted by major sponsors was Worldwide Online Instant Printing, and Best Rookie Stand was awarded to Flight Centre Business Travel whose Find The Key lucky dip drew plenty of admiring comments from visitors.

More stats, figures and information will be shown here once Expo Edge has provided it. If you have any questions please contact the Forum.
