Opal Electronic Ticketing now available in North Ryde, Macquarie Park, Uni train stations

Electronic ticketing has reached Macquarie Park, Macquarie University and North Ryde rail stations.

You can now use the Opal card on train trips to Epping, Chatswood, Hornsby, Wyong and the Sydney CBD on the T1 North Shore Line, T1 Northern Line and Central Coast & Newcastle Lines. Check out a complete list of stations.

The Opal card is a ‘smart card’ the size of a credit card, where you can ‘top up’ the card as you go rather than visit ticket windows or kiosks. It allows you to pay for Sydney trains, some buses and ferries. Fares are cheaper with Opal and Sunday travel is capped at $2.50 for Opal card users.

Check out the Opal card website for more information or to order a card.
