The City of Ryde played an instrumental part in getting Ryde Business Forum together in 1993, foreseeing the need for an umbrella Chamber of Commerce in the region to support the growing number of large organisations moving into the area and provide services to businesses of all sizes throughout the city. It has been a strong supporter of the Forum and its role in being a catalyst for business in Ryde. RBF works closely with the City on a number of economic development issues including arranging and supporting events for NSW Industry & Investment; key RBF members also have roles on Council's Economic Development Advisory Committee.

GWP Magazine Business Resource & Lifestyle
GWP Magazine Business Resource & Lifestyle joined us in March 2009 as a support partner. A key benefit of this arrangement for our members is that every member company will receive a free subscription to the magazine, which is printed bi-monthly. GWP Magazine is aimed at SME business owners as well as carrying features of interest for specific departmental managers in larger organisations.

A very exciting part of the support partner arrangement is the Macquarie Business Directory, which is distributed free of charge to companies in the Macquarie Park, Lane Cove West, North Ryde, Rhodes and Olympic Park areas.
