Skilling NSW Summit this Friday 9 May

Data is showing youth unemployment exceeding 15% in regions across NSW. What can be done?

The NSW Business Chamber is participating in the Skilling NSW Summit on May 9, with CEO Stephen Cartwright presenting his insights on how to achieve a skilled workforce in this state. And no role is more important than business – that’s why your attendance is essential!

Taking a collaborative approach, the Chamber is partnering with NSW Labor and representatives from industry, unions, education providers and academia.

Expect a keynote address from NSW Opposition Leader John Robertson, and four roundtable forums where you can debate with the panelists. Discussion will investigate how a skilled workforce can produce higher-value goods and services to counteract the pressures of an ultra-competitive, high-cost environment.

The summit will also identify pathways to assist our nation’s youth attain the skills for tomorrow’s workforce.

We encourage you to attend this free event and put your views forward on how to skill NSW.
