STARs shine in Singapore

Singapore F1 Grand Prix

The view from Andrew’s networking events – straight down the F1 track.

Our Vice Chairman Andrew Hill has just returned from Singapore, where he held a high-level networking function at the Singapore Grand Prix, ran a tennis event for some of the F1 drivers, and launched his STARS program in Singapore.

“Singapore was excellent with great networking links with other countries,” Andrew said.
“We had about 12 businesses from Sydney meeting multinational companies, CEO of banks and casinos, Presidents from local businesses and government officials.
The concept was in three parts.
1. Pitch new ideas
2. Networking and discuss these concepts.
3. Grand Prix entertainment on top of the track.
All Sydney businesses were free of charge to interact in Singapore,” he said.
“Personally, Chris and myself (Tennis Coaches) hit with the drivers in the morning and late as relaxation before the big race. Our associates were able to see this interaction,” Andrew said.
Photos and videos from the Singapore weekend are here – get your name in early for next year for your opportunity to mix with the big names in Singapore.
Launching the STARS program in Singapore is a big win for Andrew and a great export story for Ryde businesses. The STARS program helps primary school-age children develop their talents and most of all their confidence across a range of sports, the arts and school subjects such as maths and science.
