RSVPs are required for all events unless stated (ie Tweet Ups). Our events are held at someone else’s premises, and we have to advise the host company or function centre of numbers, usually three days before each event. So please do RSVP before the RSVPs close; we can’t guarantee you entry if you simply turn up on the day without having registered. Registration is easy – with this website you can simply click on registration for any event. If you’d rather phone your RSVP in to 9952 8498 that’s fine, and we still accept RSVPs by email too.
Payments are required in full prior to any event you have booked for.
If you are a member you may attend all Business After Hours events free of charge. Non-members/guests may attend one Business After Hours free of charge. We think you’ll meet enough people to gauge an impression of our organisation and the depth and breadth of membership. After that, we will ask you to pay $40 inc GST for each Business After Hours you attend. Read more on this here in the Business After Hours section.
Our new website offers online payments when you book for an event. We recommend you use this system as it’s simple, streamlined and once you’ve booked you’ve paid. No going into your internet banking and transferring money. No writing and posting cheques. No faxing booking forms to us. Easy! Our online payment system requires a credit card number; if you would rather pay another way do let us know by phoning 9952 8498 or emailing email@example.com .
Please note that for breakfasts, lunches and other events for which members and guests are charged, cancellations received after the RSVP date has closed will still be subject to payment, as numbers will have been advised to the venue. We will get charged for the number of RSVPs we have advised to the venue, and as we are a not-for-profit association we can’t afford to pay for people who don’t pay us. We hope you understand that. We can’t offer you a refund if you cancel after RSVPs are closed, unless there are extenuating circumstances, ie you crashed your car on the way to the event.
