‘The wealth of ideas – turning concepts into cash’ is being delivered by Ku-Ring-gai Council in partnership with CSIRO at their Bradfield Road site on 18 May from 9am to 1pm.
The event is designed for people looking to start a business, change their current business or develop an existing product or service, and is split into the two parts. The first is a series of presentation as follows:
- Keynote Speaker – Making a business from a good ideas – James Chin Moody, co-founder and CEO of Sendle
- Is your idea worth pursuing? – Brian Dorricott: Chief Operations Officer, Slingshot Accelerator, ON Prime Facilitator at CSIRO, Managing Director at Meteorical
- So your idea is commercially viable – what now? Fiona Anson: Co-founder of Workible
- Who do I need to be talking to? – Anna Grocholsky – Director of Commercialisation and Innovation at Macquarie University
Part 2 is a networking session designed to connect those with the ideas and those who can help or support them.
