New Export Market Development Grant assistance from Watermark

As part of Watermark’s broader Intellectual Asset Management strategy the company is pleased to offer Export Market Development Grant (EMDG) assistance as a new service offering.

The Australian Government provides grants of up to $150,000 in total in the form of the EMDG to eligible businesses to help cover the costs associated with building export markets, including up to $50,000 for eligible intellectual property (IP) expenditure. This grant may cover some of the costs of your Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) or other foreign patent or trade mark application costs incurred in the 2012/2013 financial year (including filing, prosecution and registrations costs as well as relevant IP insurance costs).

If you wish to apply for an EMDG for eligible expenditure incurred in the 2012/13 financial year, please note the deadline for applications is 2 December 2013.
