Updates to Fair Work Amendment Act

On 21 March the government tabled the Fair Work Amendment Bill 2013. The Bill proposes a number of changes to the Fair Work Act:

1. significantly expanded “family friendly” provisions;

2. provisions directed toward retaining, and possibly expanding, penalty rates;

3. provisions enabling the Fair Work Commission to deal with bullying complaints;

4. changes to union right of entry.
